Today is my mother’s birthday. I am a very fortunate man because I happen to have the best mother in the world. In honor of her birthday I created a few videos from 35mm color slides and photographs taken by my grandfather. Today I uploaded them to this site and they are now available under the “Videos” tab at the top of the page.
This short video is composed of family photographs taken from the the early 1950s to the mid 1990s. The last picture is of my little brother, my mother, and me, and it was taken in 2008. The audio track is the fabulous Carol Burnett singing “I’m So Glad We Had This Time Together” from the series finale of “The Carol Burnett Show” in 1978.
